Water Quality: will require a water temperature of 24 - 29°C with a pH of 6.5 - 7.5. Soft to moderately hard water is acceptable, with 5-15 dGH being a good range.
Compatability: They can be kept with other peaceful, similarly sized community fish. Avoid housing them with aggressive or fin-nipping species. 
Diet:High-quality cichlid pellets or flakes. Supplement with live or frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia.
Include vegetable-based foods like spirulina flakes or blanched spinach to enhance health and coloration.
