Snakeskin Barb.
Latin name: Desmopuntius Rhomboocellatus.

Water Quality:Requires a water temperature of 20º - 28º C and a pH of 4.0 - 7.0.

Compatablilty:A schooling species by nature and should be kept in group of 6 or more. Can be agressive and may nip fins of slower moving tank mates but should fit in well with other small finned tank mates.

Diet:Omnivorus/Micropredator. Will accept flake and small pelleted foods but would optimise health and coloration if fed a vairied diet including Live and frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp and daphnia.

Native to the blackwaters of Borneo in Indonesia and would thrive in a planted aquarium with a forest stream like set up.
