Flying Fox Loach (Algae-Eater)

3-4cm Flying Fox.
Latin Name: Epalzeorhynchos kalopterus.

Water Quality: Will require a water temperature on 20°C - 26°C with a pH of 6.0 - 7.5.

Compatability: Flying Fox fish can make  peacefull Community members in a mixed species tank however you should not keep this fish with others of their kind and avoid other bottom dwelling species.

Diet: Flying Fox Fish eat algae and plant matter although they are Omnivorous so will require a mixed diet including wafers, pellets, live or frozen bloodworm and daphnia for optimal health.

The Flying Fox fish comes from Southern Thailand, Sumatra, Java, The Greater Islands of Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia.
