Flag/Festivus Cichlid

4-5cm Flag Cichlids.
Latin Name: Cichlasoma Festivum 
Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 23°C - 28°C with a pH between 5.5 - 7.5.
Compatability: The flag Cichlid is peacefull but can become semi agressive during breeding. Very social and prefer to be kept in groups. Can be kept in community aquariums with other pecefull cichlids such a Geophagus and Apistogramma as well as other pecefull species such as Barbs, larger tetras and small Catfish. 
Diet: Omnivorous so a varied diet of flake, pellet live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworm and tubiflex will be require for optimal health and coloration.
Flag Cichlids are native to the Paraguay, Madre de Dios, Parana, Memore, Guapore, tapajos and
Jamari River basins in Peru, Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay in South America
