Water Quality: will require a water temperature of 23 - 27°C and a pH of 7.8 - 9. 10–25 dGH or 10–20 dKH (hard water is essential).
Compatability: Generally peaceful towards other species but highly territorial towards their own kind and other rock-dwellers, especially during breeding. They often form monogamous pair bonds for breeding.
Diet: Offer a quality vegetable-based flake food or pellets as a staple.
Supplement with meaty foods like frozen or live brine shrimp, mysis, and cyclops.
